A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Reddit Streaming
musicperformanceMy initial stream for tonight got blocked for violating something in Reddit's TOS, but it was a mistake. I was playing an initial couple of measures and it got flagged as a DJ session and not a music session. I was able to stream on another try and burn the full three hours. Anyway, the correct Reddit stream can be found here:
On this stream, there was more random music generation while trying to make things more menacing because it's October. I really went all in on the randomness, but was reminded why that's hard to make work right. I also prepared a couple of chord progressions which focused on B+ and inversions on top of B˚. They came out rather well, though I don't feel my patch diving was nearly as successful as in past sessions, so a lot of nuance got lost. I'm totally going to repurpose them, but clearly I also need to spend more time preparing for the streams so that the music, even if randomly generated, has room to breath.
Until next time. Probably Thursday. Album track arrangements begin tomorrow. That's kind of a big deal.
